Zip & cable guided sun screens, motorized

Heavy-duty exterior roller shades that block sun, wind, and glare while extending your outdoor living season — available in Zip and cable guided systems, with a wide range of sun and insect screen fabrics.

Two System Types

Zip system or cable guided — which is right for your space?

Both systems are motorized (Somfy® RTS) and in a wide array of sun-protection and insect-screen fabrics. Wind resistance is class 3 (up to 49 km/h) for motorized systems and class 2 (up to 37 km/h) for crank systems.

Cable Guided System

Ideal when a space isn't suited to a Zip system, or when full insect-proofing isn't required. The fabric runs along stainless steel cable guides, leaving a small opening on each side — a sound choice for complex or irregular installation situations.

Available in open roll or cassette versions
Reduces intensity of direct sunlight & glare
Ceiling or wall mounted, cables fixed to floor or wall
Ideal for openings, entryways, and restaurant terraces

Zip System

Side channels retain the fabric on both edges, creating a fully sealed barrier — including a bug-proof environment. Best suited to openings with a rigid, flat, four-sided surround with 90° corners (regular windows, framed patio openings).
